2024 Independence Day and Cultural Show

As you may have already seen posted, the Waikato Filipino Association is hosting the

126th Philippines Independence Day and Cultural Show.

Although it falls on 12 June, WFA will be holding it on Saturday 13 July from 11am to 4pm at The Fale, K’aute Pasifika Village, 100 Seddon Road.

The last Independence Day celebration was the Quincentennial Celebration at Marist School Hall and grounds. COVID disrupted the regular celebration but we are back hoping to gather the growing Filipino community in Hamilton and the Waikato for this event.

This will be an opportunity to showcase local Filipino talents, Food and other businesses or services not only to our kababayan but also to our guests.

With this we would like to invite you to support by bringing your Filipino food or other business to the event. Programme and event instructions will be sent out to those who sign up.
